Often known simply as “MAC,” this strain is named because of a “miracle” that occurred when the original breeder had an idea in mind that almost never happened – it could have been a tragedy. More about that story, below.

The Miracle In MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies)
In the “old days” of the internet, before social media like Facebook, we had a lot of forums and newsgroups where people could “gather,” discuss different points of view, announce results of their experiments, share knowledge, and get to know each other better, no matter what part of the world you lived, or how far apart in distance you were separated. Some of us miss those old internet days.
You could find forums and newsgroups on just about any topic or subject. There was far less censorship than there is today. Of course, if you had an interest in cannabis, you’d easily find newsgroups and forums devoted to the subject; some of them were devoted to more specific subjects including strain breeding and development.
Some of the weed breeding legends of today began during that newsgroup/forum age of the internet, while other older legends took advantage of the this new “information highway” to share their own knowledge.
It was in these times that if you were a regular visitor to some of the old forums, you might have come across a breeder who chose the “nickname” of Capulator when he would post or reply. He’s a very private person and few, if any know, his actual identity.
However, he has shared his story via email with Jimi Devine who managed to track Capulator down, about how the Miracle Alien Cookies strain came about. And his story contains a miracle!
Capulator was trying to breed a new strain that involved a cross between Alien Cookies F2 #7, and another strain – a descendant of Starfighter from Columbia. He managed to get 15 seeds from this crossing.
But… he left the seeds in his pocket, and they went through the washing machine!
He and his companion tried to rescue the seeds by germinating them in wet paper towel and naturally exciting and with relief to see all 15 seeds germinate. But, within two weeks later, all but one of the growing plants out of the 15, died. For Capulator, it was a miracle that one managed to survive for him! He lovingly called the surviving plant, “Miracle 15.”
The breeder then crossed pollen from his “Miracle 15” plant with another “Alien Cookies” plant – and now we have today, the result in the Miracle Alien Cookies strain.

Miracle Alien Cookies (MAC) Description
Some think of this strain as one of the most beautiful weed strains – or at least gets it’s great looks from it’s mother, Alien Cookies. Generally the buds are a mint green colour with orange threads and crystal white trichomes. It’s flavour profile consists of earthy tones with undertones of citrus – some identify orange almost right away.
