But this wasn’t done in the East; rather it was creative breeding that took place in California. Medium sized flowers with purples in the buds due to the Afghani parentage, the buds can be very dense and with significant levels of resin. It’s one of the better strains for hash.

THC Content is in a range of between 17 and 27% with the average being right in the middle at around 22%.

The taste of Purple Kush is often described as outstanding, with hints of sandalwood scent, and a mixture of hash and sweet grape-like fruit taste. Sweet wine is detected by some when smoking this strain.
