Based out of a garage in Southern California, cannabis breeders Seed Junky Genetics originally crossed Gelato with Wedding Cake to create the Ice Cream Cake strain. Seed Junky is known for their work in focusing on terpene profiles and looking to create strains that have awesome and unique flavours.
While this strain does come with a potent 23% at times THC, one of the big things that people often note about it is the flavour – a sexy sweetness with touches of lemon, and a creaminess you’ll find delicious. You might taste a bit of nuttiness in there as well.
Interestingly, this strain also has a relatively significant CBD level – and can be as high as 1.3% according to some lab tests.
Indica lovers will likely enjoy this strain – as it is 75% Indica / 25% Sativa. The Indica effects are strong and you’ll likely want to use this an evening smoke when you’re looking forward to chilling out before a good night’s sleep.

Valencene: If you know anything about different types of oranges, you may have heard of Valencia Oranges, and indeed this terpene is named for this orange – as it is found in very high amounts in Valencia Oranges.
